Link the slinky

Spotted some of these recently.
Topshop Link Necklace
More commonly known as slinky, these are actually made of bead caps.
Bead caps are a type of findings used in bead work. And it's is VERY cheap. Not usually the main item in a piece, as it is usually used to finish a piece. For example it is used in a necklace like this>

Because of the multiple strand, it has to have a cap to hold all the strands firmly.
Sorry, I can't find a picture at the back, where you can really see what I meant.

I've seen many accessories that use findings. Crimps, jump rings, wires. (p/s: Another post for another day)

Just let your creativity take over.

weekend findings

An owl necklace, and a pre-loved bangle at a junk sale.

Owl in 3 colors.

Finally I found a bangle just right for my small hands.

Any ideas of how to polish the bangle??

2.5 inches... working up my way to heaven Louboutins

I got a pair of brand new heels, from Aldo. It was on sale, at $60. Available in black, grey and purplish-fuschia. I snatch the last only pair in grey. The sales assistant told me each store only carry one pair for each size. I wonder how true it is. It's material is made of suede leather, and sole is synthetic. Synthetic soles are slightly lighter than wooden ones. I can't wait to strut in these lovely pair.

Someone get me Mindy please.... less than $10!!! I want I want! See Mindi here :(

closet overhaul

Hello everyone, I've been missing in action mainly because I was buried by all the things that I bought but don't need use.
I just realised last night, that I need to get rid of most of the things so that I can have more things. haha.

Any tips for a closet overhaul?
