How to be cheeky..
Benefit Benetint (rosy lip & cheek stain, if you don't already know) is a cult item started in 1977 and continues to evolve through out the years. Three decades later, this multitasker toned down a shade into a more feminine shade of sheer pink. Good news to those fair ladies who uses Benetint, previously may give the appearence like a severe case of rosacea or may think the redness is too sexy. Now there's a solution.
All in a cute and sweet pink bottle - Posietint.
This is how it looks on a real model - all natural blush.
Summer is here and it's the reason for sweet looking cheeks - Get Posietint here.

All lashed out
Shu Uemura is known to be the pioneer of fake lash (architecture).
Current collaborration with Viktor & Rolf's (remember their theatherical runway show in Fall Winter 2007?) is three different designs of haute couture fake lashes.
Viktor & Rolf’s spring fashion 2008 inspired this limited edition collection. Priced at £50 per pair.
This paper clip look alike lashes are so coveted. I am all excited looking at these fake lashes, but I doubt I will put it on.
Susie of Style Bubble showed us what's it like in real life. Not too dramatic, but it's super lengthy.

Have a taste of Helmut Newton
One of the most influential photographer of all time - Helmut Newton created "Helmut Newton Photo Machine" back in 1970. This photographic equipment and studio was an innovation back, models can take their own photograph without any photographer.
Now, there's a chance for us to have a taste of being a stylist, model and photographer at the same time. Not only it epitomizes your very own fashion moment, it redefines one's obsession to pose in front of a camera.
My favourite is Susie's.
Her dress is so colorful and kitschy. Or was it a skirt?
Check out other poses and latest garb at Topshop Gallery.
This is the last week for those who want to head over to Topshop (Dublin Street) to get your very own style shot. Faster!
"The whole system is devised to heighten the tension of the modelling session
and to catch the model at the peak of each pose".Helmut Newton.

Let's get a vibrator
There will be no more shame in having a vibrator in your handbag. Er, I mean mascara.
Both, renowned cosmetic brand Estée Lauder and Lancome is launching this new technology mascara.
Estée Lauder's TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara - a revolutionary world’s first battery-operated, vibrating, all-effects mascara will reveals itself first in July 17 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Lancome reported that its new mascara, Ôscillation delivers 7,000 vibrations per minute. Gasp. It's good to have a steady hand when applying mascara. Otherwise we will end up looking a little less flawless. It's actually designed to replace zigzag hands movement when applying mascara.
For a mascara lover like me, I am not sure I am hyped up on this new mascara.

G2000 vs Gap
I was passing thru G2000 and I saw a mannequin donning a simple white top which really resembles Gap's 2008 CFDA white collection.
It may be just the front part but it really does look similar. I really fancy G2000's creativity by adding a bow to the back.
I did get something from G2000, similar with Gap but of course with an extra touch.Band of Outsiders for Gap 2008
P/S : You can still get some of this season's Gap Design Editions at discounted price. See here.Tuesday, June 10, 2008
Maxi-s for models, not women
Yes, it's true. This dress by Mango / MNG relates to Y(a)ppie's love affair with maxi dresses.
Monday, June 09, 2008
Six foot tall, came without a warning so I had to shoot her dead.

I tried on the most fetching maxi dress from MNG over the weekend. In the prettiest shades of pastels and winsome contrast of blacks. Geometric shapes non too garish. The weight of the fabric is perfect. Clings at all the right places. With the help of a lovely bold black bow at the empire line, eliminates the 'pregnant' look.
I love.

Of course, then I encountered the problem I have ALWAYS had with MNG maxi dresses. Waaaaayyyy too maxi. It's like they make maxis for models, not women. Ugh.I am Asian, but have been lucky enough to be blessed with a slim frame with an 'ok' height of 5'5". I CAN pull off a maxi dress, thankyouverymuch. But having THAT much of excess cloth as shown, to put it mildly - ridiculous.
On another occasion @ MNG too :-
Sigh. I rest my case.
