Zara Spring Trends - Floral

It's no secret that I am a big Zara fan. My friends even joke that I have shares in Zara. Well, I don't buy as much as my friends think I do. I do use to stalk Zara a lot.

Recent collection to hit the stores, offers a lot of feminine florals, pastel polkas and clean whites.
All of which are my favorite looks.
A simple silhouette dress in a chinese oriental print. Prints that you often see on paintings or fine china.

Chic simple polkas! How can one deny polka dots.

Shorts mimicking as skirts. There you go, skorts. Minimalistic, and utilitarian at the same time.

Same print pairings! Make a floral statement. Wear these bright floral blouse and shorts together or separate.

Paperbag anyone?

I always like clutches, easy, simple and fuss free. However, don't get any chance to use it much other than dinner events.

Here is a very down to earth take on clutches, by Marie Turnor.

Maxi Dress for Fall

Maxi jersey dress is the current hot trend now. It's a easy wardrobe choice to transit from summer to fall. I simply love the simple silhouette. It's beachwear choice, mostly. But now the trend is pushing it as a fall staple.Dare I say, it's can even be a dress up choice, when you pick the right designs or cut for your body. No need to think much when you dress up for a night out or dinner party. Remember to accessories properly. Jackets or blazers is always a foolproof choice.

Dresses seen here are by; Gap, Old Navy, Roxy, Nightcap, Asos, Asos, Calvin Klein, Rachel Pally, The Row, The Row, Bassike, Splendid

Cock your hat - angles are attitudes

You would have think that being in the climate of along the Equator would had us all donning fancy straw hat of the current trend.

This is not the case for people from this state. You'll will invite stares and especially if you are in a closed up, blasted airconditioned mall. Pratically the only decent place people hangout. Not the streets, not the gardens.

I do hope people will wear more hats, straw hats like these. It's much less cumbersome than an umbrella.
Love these floppy hats. And those that almost looks like a small cap.

These are the ones I think I would skip - simply because it looks like it's more suitable for the
ventriloquist.

MNG Fall 2009

Jessica Stam models for H&M Fall 2009

These springs off from Balmain's Spring 2009 collection are more weareable for us, mere fashion mortals.
Unlike Rihanna and Beyonce - their fashion sense is larger than life.

Christophe Decarnin is such a GENIUS - Spring 2010 rocked even more...

Acid dare

Dare you to wear the latest trend that's sported by Fergie-fergalicious.
I think I am quite apprehensive when it comes to trend, even if I do try it will be a very subtle statement. Nothing OTT. I've read somewhere that bad taste is wanting to be too fashionable. There are lots people out there that think they can be fashionable by putting all the trends on themselves. Yes, they may make a good visual picture every now and then, but mostly I think it's a walking fashion disaster.
Okay back to acid wash jeans - the current trend now.You don't need to spend a bomb in getting the lastest (Balmain) acid jeans pair but simply DIY. Some examples here, here and here with complete instructions.
Or get other cheap alternatives from Mango >

Zara Spring Summer 2009

I know it's way too late to talk about Spring collection, but I just had too because of all these lovely pictures. The stylist really did a good job. This is my favourite collection ever - Zara Spring Summer 2009. Nude color, color block, sweet pastel, pleats, men wear for women and dresses.
