exuberant styles i adore

He who captures those with exuberant styles

This is one of them that I totally adore...

Kate Moss for Topshop

"IT'S true – Kate Moss has officially turned her hand to design for the first time, having agreed to create a line for TopShop" Source

It will debut in April 2007 for Spring collection. Check out their current runway Look.

Are models, celebrities are now giving designers a run for their money and ideas?
It makes me wonder how Kate Moss will add to Topshop's London-ish chic style.

Since we are on this topic. I wonder - when celebrities "designs", what do they do? Do they sit down and sketch or some designers do the work and the celebs will just nod or shake their head.

Pretty Bargain

Ever been in the situation where you love an item so much you bought it immediately - only find out a month later that the item is on discount. Shitty, innit?

But then if you wait, motivated by the thought of maybe it will be on discounted price soon - sure, it happens. Only to be let down by the salesperson telling you that it's sold out. Then I regret big time.

I saw this :

from Esprit @ The Curve

It's a belt, a necklace in many ways, a bracelet, even an anklet if you please.

From 3 months before, I was contemplating whether it's really worth my RM99 for this. Everytime I visit the shop, it's there on the same mannequin. Weird - it's really pretty, but no one grabbed it? A month later it was the sales season - this particular item is still on normal price - And I was still contemplating its worthiness. The next month it's still in there. No discount. I was ready to let it go, just because it's one of those pretty girly things I know I will never get the chance to use regularly - although it's really very very pretty, sparkly and delicate. Did I mention pretty?

A fortnight ago, I passed by the same Esprit again and still - the item is there on the mannequin. Just to try my luck, I flipped the price tag - a tiny 70% off sticker was stuck there!

I put it down as one of my most satisfying and worthy shopping experience. Of course I bagged it immediately!

Trend Alert - Bubble attack

Another trend slowing creeping in. It's the bubble skirt/dress.
I personally think it's very fun and cute, something Carrie Bradshaw would wear. Would you?

One Dress, Two Styles

As I look at these 2 sets of pictures over and over again, I still can't reason out why the same style carried by Ashlee Simpson & Elisha Cuthbert, and two style savvy non-celebrity fashionista are so distinct. Definitely I prefer the latter. Two styles - one bare pinafore, another layered with a top underneath.
Is it the fact that one being shot by paparazzi and the other one by famous The Sartorialist?
Or was it the color, gray vs black? Gray is the new black?
Anyone care to enlighten me?

Season Transition

Weather are slowing changing and it's time to change our wardrobe from Spring Summer to Autumn Winter. But sometimes I am so reluctant to buy into a full Autumn/Winter wardrobe. Have you ever splurge on the summer clearance sale, but having no chance to wear it because the weather has turn cold? Of course, we dread wearing it the next year because it would be a potential fashion disaster.

Here are my list of must-have(s) from Spring Summer and yet wearable during Autumn Winter.

1. Tank tops - you can still use it during Autumn, just layer it. Or with jackets, hoodies. Even dresses.

2. Summer dresses - wear long sleeve t-shirt underneath, or wear corduroy/leather jacket

3. Shirt dress - layer summer dresses with shirt dresses

4. Vest - my take; you can wear it with almost anything as long as it is tight fit. Or with fitted t.

5. Denim Shorts - try to get those mid lengths, not Daisy Duke type, so that you can fold it up during Summer, and fold down during cold weather

6. Cropped jeans - summer staple wear, but during Autumn, you can wear it with your knee length boots

7. Denim Skirts - over skinny jeans (black) and if you must, leggings... argh, i dread that word...

What summer clothing that you wear to death till autumn?

What Fall Color Should You Wear?

I was told that I should wear Charcoal..

You Should Wear Charcoal
Cool and relaxed, you always look forward to the start of fall.
Gray represents your peace with the world and your surroundings.

Silly post, I know

Vest mania

My current obssession. The vest of course, not Cameron Diaz. This picture has totally fuel my obssession to get more and more vest, so that I could achieve this simple yet chic look. Her color combinations are well put together. Though the red bag (in my opinion) does an over-kill for the whole look. Red is not really the color I would stack my closet with, but hey, I do have a red belt...
Time for experiment!

Godiva... for me

Godiva have coffee blends - Belgian Blends ! in a bottle.

A tantalizing chocolate taste combined with coffee, not just any plain coffee. How fab, is that?
Imagine you are struting down the street, holding this Belgian Blend on your hand, not the typical Starbucks anymore, enough said.

Yours to choose, from French Vanilla Latte and Dark / Milk chocolate mocha. The definite caffeine replacement for me!

Victorian Frocks

Long frocks donned by both Sophia Bush and Nicole Richie recently, may spark new trend on red carpet events. Do you think so?
